Danielle Bates says she called the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office to try and get something done. We checked with them and they told 9NEWS they couldn’t find enough evidence to press charges, and said they aren’t even sure if this is a hate crime. Meanwhile, the threats didn’t just stay outside. I am moving to a smarter parish……….this makes me sick!!!!!!
we have plenty of good houses along with great people here in ascenion parish. Our neighbors ask to borrow something, they dont just help themselves to it. Also our driveways are OUR Driveways not anybody elses.
Yeah come move to the AP……I can honestly say I have not ever seen a woman yielding an ax walking down my street….although I have seen a lady threaten someone while holding a poodle….
This makes me ill — sick to my stomach. I cannot believe the police are taking this so lightly! That poor woman.

The ax-wielding neighbor seriously needs to get a clue (and maybe some medication).
It is my hope and dream that when racists die and stand before God on judgment day, He appears to them in the form of whomever they persecuted: Black, Asian, Native American, Indian, Hispanic, whatever.
I can’t say that He will, but wouldn’t that be cool?
